"High Country Exhale" Original Oil Painting

$550.00

This painting is based on footage from Harmen Hoek’s film hiking the 215 mile (350 km) long-distance John Muir trail in September to October 2023. Hoek goes where I will most likely never access on my own two legs. For that, I am grateful to live vicariously through his films, and to create an extended experience through painting these awe-inspiring places. With that said, a special thanks goes to adventurous film maker, Harmen Hoek for permission to use his footage as reference material. I encourage everyone to watch his cinematic films and escape into nature.

Details: Original oil painting on 24×30” and 1.5” deep. Heavy duty cotton duck, acid-free and archival stretched canvas. Wired and signed on the back. Varnished, edges painted black, and felt pads on back corners for added wall protection. I recommend taking this piece to your local frame shop and getting a floater frame to match your space.

(Depending on when this painting is purchased, it may require additional dry time. The artist will be in touch with the collector to provide any necessary shipping updates).

Shipping: Shipping is only offered in the U.S. via FedEx Home Delivery (1-5 days). Shipping is free and local delivery is optional— please email kathrynhackneyart@gmail.com to arrange local delivery to the following Washington counties: King, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom.

The original artwork is intended for personal display purposes only and should not be reproduced, resold, or used for any commercial purposes without obtaining proper authorization.

The colors may be slightly different in person due to varying lighting.
